CareCredit
CareCredit is a third-party healthcare financing option that may allow approved applicants to pay for eligible veterinary expenses over time. Financing terms, promotional offers, minimum purchase requirements, and approval decisions are determined by CareCredit.
We encourage clients to review the available terms carefully and apply directly through CareCredit before their pet’s appointment when possible.
Pet Insurance
Pet insurance may help families plan for veterinary expenses and manage the cost of unexpected illness or injury. Coverage varies by provider and policy, so we recommend reviewing exclusions, deductibles, reimbursement terms, waiting periods, and claim requirements before choosing a plan.
Because most pet insurance works through reimbursement, clients should be prepared to pay Courtyard Animal Hospital at the time of service and then submit the required documentation to their insurance provider.
Trupanion
Courtyard Animal Hospital is pleased to offer Trupanion Direct Pay. When eligible, Trupanion can pay Courtyard Animal Hospital directly for covered veterinary expenses at the time of your pet’s visit. This means you may only be responsible for your portion of the bill, such as your deductible, co-insurance, and any services not covered by your policy, rather than paying the entire invoice upfront and waiting for reimbursement.
Trupanion offers medical insurance for pets, with coverage determined by the client’s individual policy. Benefits, exclusions, deductibles, reimbursement, and eligibility are handled directly by Trupanion. Clients should contact Trupanion for policy-specific questions and confirm their coverage before treatment whenever possible.
